But now, after two decades of drought, the San Luis Reservoir is losing its power as it dries up and becomes the largest freshwater reservoir in the world.
The lake, the largest in the state of Michoacan, is located on the edge of the city of Michot.
The area is also home to a number of other natural springs and lakes, including the San Juan de Fuca and the San Fernando.
According to the Mexican National Institute of Environment, San Fernando Reservoir in Michoacán is the second largest in Mexico.
The dam, located in the northern part of the country, is an enormous water supply system that provides drinking water to about 5 million people, according to the Institute of Water and Environment.
The reservoir holds a total of about 5 billion cubic meters of water, but only half of it is used for drinking.
