A Nevada man accidentally killed his brother, a family friend, and his girlfriend in the same incident as the police said, according to authorities.
The family friend was stabbed and later died.
The suspect was shot and later hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The Nevada State Bureau of Investigation confirmed the suspect’s name was Anthony Martin, 35, and said he was arrested in Clark County.
He faces charges of first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and burglary.
The incident happened on Thursday night at a home in the 7400 block of E. 7th Street, according the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The victim, an unidentified family member, was stabbed in the chest, the Nevada State Highway Patrol said.
The suspect fled and was later found hiding in a shed in the home, the NSP said.
Investigators searched the home and found the suspect hiding in the back of the shed and had not been seen since.
